Preparation for the Trip

I have been preparing for June 2nd when I will be flying off to Kampala, Uganda.  I have been overloaded with reading about the on- going civil war in Uganda and the Genocide in Rwanda in 1994.  I will be studying these two conflicts in depth while I am over in Africa.  It will be an emotionally draining time as the topics are very tragic.  Yet, I am excited to learn and gain new perspective as I travel to a new part of the world!
